Lead the Launch of an Exciting New Specialist Clinic
We are seeking an ambitious, medically qualified, commercially minded, and patient-focused Clinic Managerto lead our brand-new clinic opening in Tunbridge Wells in late September 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing a state-of-the-art medical clinic with an outstanding reputation for excellence in patient care. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the clinic, leading a multidisciplinary team, driving commercial performance, and ensuring exceptional patient experiences from consultation through to treatment and aftercare.
Our modern clinic has been designed and equipped to the hospital grade standards, with four operating rooms and offering a comprehensive range of specialist services including:
- Specialist skin surgery – see website for comprehensive list of treatments,
- Mole screening, mole checks and removal,
- Consultant-led Plastic Surgery and Dermatology services,
- Advanced laser treatments using Class 4 medical-grade laser technology.
Working alongside highly experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists, you will help ensure the clinic becomes the leading destination for both NHS and private patients across the region.
About the Role
As Clinic Manager, you will be responsible for creating a culture of excellence, ensuring outstanding patient care while delivering strong operational and commercial performance.
You will act as the key link between patients, clinicians, and the wider leadership team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all clinic activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the clinic team to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.
- Foster a culture centred around exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Manage clinician and patient appointment diaries to maximise utilisation and efficiency.
- Monitor and deliver clinic targets, KPIs, and commercial objectives.
- Oversee all clinic operations, administration, compliance, and financial processes.
- Manage budgets, banking procedures, and profit and loss performance.
- Ensure compliance with CQC requirements and all relevant healthcare regulations.
- Produce regular operational and performance reports for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Support local marketing and business development initiatives to grow clinic revenue and patient numbers.
About You
We are looking for an experienced manager who combines strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for patient care.
You will currently be working in healthcare, private medical services, aesthetics, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, or another highly regulated customer-focused environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Medically qualified, ideally NMC registered or equivalent.
- Previous experience within a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements.
- Proven management and leadership experience.
- Excellent customer service and patient care skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing teams and driving performance.
- Commercial awareness with experience working towards targets and KPIs.
Desirable
- Previous CQC Registered Manager experience preferable
- Experience working alongside Consultants, Surgeons, Doctors, or other healthcare professionals.
- Experience in a regulated environment.
- Financial management experience, including budgets and reporting.
- Confident IT user with experience of Microsoft Office and appointment booking systems.
- Ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
