We are a dynamic lighting and Lutron design company, looking for a full time Junior Lighting Designer to join our team in East Horsley, Surrey, KT24 6RX.

Working on projects both locally and internationally, we are looking for an enthusiastic aspiring lighting designer to assist on a variety of exciting projects.

A bit about us;

Working closely with the home owners and their design team, architect and electricians, we produce stunning lighting schemes to complement and enhance the clients home.

Producing a carefully considered lighting design and using a variety of different lighting techniques, we highlight interesting interior and architectural features and create new ones where needed.

Using a combination of specialist architectural and decorative light fittings, we can create the perfect balance of warmth, functionality and dynamic design.

Providing complete control of the new multi-layered and flexible lighting scheme, we also design and install Lutron control systems allowing the client to transform the space for any occasion with a simple press of a button.

As a finishing touch, we also supply, integrate and install beautiful automated window treatments to compliment the new automated lighting.

The Role;

The role involves dealing with clients, designers and architects, therefore the ideal candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, work well as a team and be committed to deadlines with a particular attention to detail.

You will have a design qualification or similar, while experience in high-end customer service and lighting design is not essential, a design background and an interest in lighting is extremely beneficial.

Experience in AutoCAD and Adobe suite is an advantage.

The successful candidate will be trained up in the field of lighting design over their first 18 months, after which they will be responsible for their own clients and projects from design stage through to scene setting of the Lutron systems.

Initial responsibilities will include;

Assisting on lighting design projects
Supporting Senior Designers
Site visits and initial site surveys
Provide support putting together formal issue construction drawings and technical lighting schedules
Prepare detailed conceptual elevation drawings and visuals for client presentations
Luxury lighting enquiries and technical support for clients
Showroom demonstrations and client greetings
Research into new lighting products
Product procurement

Salary is dependent on experience.
