Full job description

Overview:
We are seeking a Workshop Welding Inspector to join our company in Cleghorn, Lanark. The position is full time, 39 hours per week, on a permanent basis. Your duties will include:

Adhering to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System and health and Safety Procedures
Producing and maintaining job specific inspection, material and NDT records
Able to Read & Interpret technical drawings.
Goods inwards & Outwards inspection
Material test certificate review
Preparation of ITP & Quality Packs
Shopfloor inspections in accordance with the inspection and test plan
Arrange sub-contractor NDT requirements
Liasing with third party inspectors
Maintaining calibration of inspection and test equipment

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role is essential
- Experience in an Inspector role Preferable.
