Full job description

EU Signs Ltd is a growing sign manufacturing company based in Borehamwood. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team.

This is a hands-on role within our production department. No previous sign-making experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn new skills.

The successful candidate will assist with the production of health and safety signs, vehicle graphics, printed materials, and other signage products.

A two-month probationary period will apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparing materials for production
Cutting boards and sign materials to size
Laminating printed graphics
Applying and mounting vinyl graphics to various materials
Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of signs
Packaging completed products ready for dispatch
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
Checking completed work before production and dispatch
Recording production details and job progress
Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
Following company procedures and health and safety requirements

What We Are Looking For:

No previous experience required as full training will be provided
Good practical and manual skills
Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
Excellent timekeeping and punctuality
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good organisational skills
Attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable and dependable work ethic
Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
Working from home is NOT possible

Desirable but Not Essential:

Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, workshop, construction or handyman roles.
Experience using hand tools.
Full UK driving licence.
