Full-Time 12 month Fixed Term Position

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of the planning and supply activities for one or more product families within our sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operation.

This role offers hands-on experience across production planning, material planning, purchasing, inventory management, and finite scheduling. Working closely with Operations, Procurement, Quality teams, and Customer Service, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer demand is translated into achievable production plans while maintaining material availability and operational efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity to build or further develop your career in supply chain planning within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Review customer demand forecasts and validate requirements against available manufacturing capacity.
Maintain customer demand, sales orders, and planning data within SAP.
Run Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to identify material shortages and generate purchasing requirements.
Raise and manage purchase orders to ensure raw material availability in line with inventory policies.
Create, release, and maintain production orders and associated manufacturing documentation.
Develop and maintain finite production schedules using SAP and the Advanced Planning System (APS).
Monitor production progress and collaborate with Manufacturing teams to resolve capacity constraints, material shortages, and schedule deviations.
Maintain planning master data, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supporting documentation.
Track planning performance and support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and manufacturing operations.
Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams to ensure service, inventory, and production objectives are achieved.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
1-3 years’ experience using SAP PP/MM in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred

Experience using Advanced Planning Systems (e.g. SAP IBP, Kinaxis, RapidResponse).
Experience within a pharmaceutical and GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
APICS CPIM certification.
CIPS Level 4 qualification.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience supporting continuous improvement or change management initiatives.
