Ipswich Volkswagen is currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with a prestigious brand while supporting our Service Department during a colleague’s maternity leave.
What will I be responsible for?
As a Service Advisor (Fixed-Term Maternity Cover), you’ll be part of the aftersales team, supporting the service department by handling all inbound calls/outbound calls. You’ll play a key role in reducing booking wait times and enhancing the customer experience.
You’ll deliver efficient, courteous service, ensuring appointments are booked in line with Marriott Motor Group processes. You’ll liaise with professionals across the aftersales department to help meet performance targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling all inbound service booking calls at site level
- Returning voicemails and missed calls related to service bookings daily
- Processing internet service booking enquiries
- Managing the Brand ‘service lead inbox’ and arranging bookings
- Handling RTC online booking requests and confirmation follow-ups
- Arranging customer appointments and alternative transport when needed
- Following a standardised booking process for consistency
- Providing admin support to the service and parts department
- Supporting service desk operations when required
- Promoting service plans to customers
- Verifying vehicle eligibility for ‘connected car’ activation
