Our Call Handler will be the first point of contact for many calls to the resort, and as such give an outstanding first impression of friendly and efficient guest service. The successful candidate will have impeccable communication skills and will be confident in multitasking, being able to assist internal and external guests.
Key things you will be responsible for:
- Answering and transferring all incoming calls providing warm friendly exceptional guest service
- Provision of resort and local information
- Courtesy calls and recording of guest preferences and requirements
- Liaison and communication around various departments
- Printing and distribution of reports and supporting front office administration tasks
- Providing support to reception, including check in a check out of guests on occassion
- Using a variety of systems including Microsoft Office, Resort Suite, HotSOS, Bartech and VingCard.

- National 5 Qualifications in Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications), with further study e.g. NC/HND/SVQ or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Tourism related field and advantage.

- Initiative, creativity and ability to solve problems
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in IT, competent in the use of Microsoft packages and ability to use technology

The original estate was home to the Smollett family for over 300 years, including the famous 18th Century novelist and poet, Tobias Smollett. Tobias travelled widely, yet the vision of his Scottish home was never lost, "I have seen Lake Garda, Albana, De Visco, Bolsetta and Geneva. Upon my honour, I prefer Loch Lomond to them all."
