As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Planning Co-ordinator to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day planning, organisation, and co-ordination of consultancy operations and projects.
The Role
This is a fast-paced and varied role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, structure, communication, and forward planning.
You will work closely with management, consultants, clients, and contractors to help ensure works are planned efficiently, meetings are co-ordinated effectively, tasks are allocated correctly, and projects continue progressing smoothly.
The successful candidate will become a central part of the operational side of the business, helping to bring structure, visibility, and efficiency across multiple live projects and consultancy activities.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Resource Co-ordination
· Assist with the planning and scheduling of consultancy works, site visits, inspections, meetings, and project activities.
· Support the allocation of consultants and resources across multiple projects and clients.
· Maintain visibility of workloads, project timelines, deadlines, and priorities.
· Identify scheduling conflicts, resource pressures, or delays and escalate where necessary.
· Assist with forward planning to ensure projects and consultancy support are delivered efficiently.
Project & Task Management
· Manage and monitor task management systems to ensure actions are allocated, tracked, and completed.
· Support project co-ordination across multiple live projects simultaneously.
· Maintain accurate records, trackers, and project updates.
· Ensure all project-related documentation is organised, current, and accessible.
· Follow up on outstanding actions and ensure accountability across project teams.
Meetings & Communication
· Arrange and co-ordinate site meetings, internal planning meetings, and client meetings.
· Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and circulate actions.
· Act as a key communication link between consultants, management, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
· Maintain professional and responsive communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
· Utilise CRM and task management systems to support operational efficiency and project visibility.
· Support the continuous improvement of planning systems, workflows, and operational processes.
· Assist in implementing lean planning principles and improving efficiency across the business.
· Help ensure a structured and organised approach to project delivery and day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills
· 2–3 years’ experience in construction planning, project co-ordination, operations, or a similar role.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
· Experience working within fast-paced construction, consultancy, or project-based environments.
· Understanding of lean principles and efficient workflow planning.
· Experience using CRM systems and task/project management software.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
· Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
Desirable
· Previous experience working within a health and safety, construction, or consultancy environment.
· A health and safety qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
· Experience supporting operational planning or resource allocation.
· Knowledge of project reporting and tracking systems.
Working Hours
· 38-hour working week -Monday to Friday
· Early finish every Friday

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
