Full job description

This job is for 9 months maternity cover, ideally starting the second week in September.

Days expected to worked are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9-5 but happy to discuss the possibility of changing this if needed.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Admin Assistant will support the business with a range of administration duties in a prompt and professional manner. These duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Answering incoming calls

- Receiving and processing customer orders by phone/ email

- Ordering plant/equipment/ office supplies etc.

- Completing/ Issuing paperwork

- Assisting with vehicle requirements with regards arranging repairs/ servicing/ MOT/ tax etc.

- Collecting and filing employee paperwork

- Administering post

- Basic office administration including procurement of office stationery and supplies

- Any other admin related duties

Essential Criteria:

- 2 years relevant administration experience working within a helpdesk/ service environment

- IT literate with demonstrable experience of Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) and the ability to learn and utilise CRM system

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling data and reporting with accuracy and attention to detail

- Flexibility with regards to working hours

Pay: £10.85-£13.50 per hour
