Full job description

Overview
We are seeking experienced and skilled Site Joiners/Kitchen Fitters to join our construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, assembling, and finishing joinery and kitchen units on-site. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction industry, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Applicants should possess a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.

Responsibilities

Installing kitchen units, cabinetry, and bespoke joinery according to project specifications
Second fix joinery - skirtings, doors, door sets and architraves.
Assembling components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Performing fabrication and precise measurements to ensure accurate fitting
Conducting site preparation, including framing and roofing support.
Assisting with general site tasks as required
Lifting heavy materials safely and handling large components with care
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers
Skilled in using power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and grinders
Knowledge of roofing techniques and construction painting is advantageous
Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Familiarity with plumbing, masonry, or electrical systems is a plus
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
