Bakery Shop Assistant – Join Our Team at BEK Sourdough Bakery!

Location: Southampton, UK
Position: Part-time
Salary: Starting at minimum wage (with potential increases over time)
Shifts:

Tuesday – Friday: Morning (6:00 AM – 12:00 PM) or Afternoon (12:00 PM – 5:00PM)
Every Saturday: 6:00 AM – 13:00 PM

We are looking for an experienced Bakery Shop Assistant to join our team at BEK Sourdough Bakery. If you have a passion for high-quality baked goods and enjoy providing excellent customer service, this role is for you!

Your Responsibilities:

Serving customers with a friendly and professional attitude
Handling sales transactions and managing the till
Keeping the shop well-stocked and organized
Making coffee and handling basic barista duties
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the shop

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in retail or hospitality is required
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and reliability
Willingness to learn and adapt to bakery operations
