Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional environment. The Chef de Partie will work closely with senior chefs to ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and supervision of kitchen operations during service
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained in line with legal requirements and company policies
Manage and oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as pastry, grill, or sauces
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices where applicable
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to reduce waste and control costs
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
A passion for culinary arts and continuous learning to stay updated on current trends and techniques
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience that enhances customer service skills
