Full job description

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Appraiser to join a busy and growing automotive business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for cars and a keen eye for detail to develop a career within the motor trade.

As a Vehicle Appraiser, you will be responsible for assessing vehicles, recording their condition, and ensuring accurate information is captured to support the sales and purchasing process.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and assess vehicles upon arrival.
Record vehicle condition, mileage, and specifications accurately.
Identify any cosmetic or mechanical defects.
Complete vehicle appraisal reports and documentation.
Take photographs of vehicles where required.
Liaise with internal departments regarding vehicle condition and preparation.
Ensure vehicles are presented and stored in line with company standards.
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

About You

A genuine interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
Strong attention to detail.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, or computer systems to record information.
Previous motor trade experience is advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
