An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivated Senior Administrative Officer to join the Theatres and Anaesthetics team at UHCW. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the service, providing high-quality administrative support, coordinating patient pathways, managing clinics and appointments, and acting as a key point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals.

We are looking for an experienced administrator with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of customer service and attention to detail.

Maintain both manual and electronic filing systems and databases, as required by the department and Trust policies, ensuring all documents are accurately and appropriately archived.

Collate, input and monitor departmental data and information to assist with the production of reports for the department.

Maintain an efficient and comprehensive administrative service for room bookings within out patient areas, providing support to the departments and other team members as requested.

Support the implementation and maintenance of efficient office management system/procedures to enable the department to optimise their patient care services.

Maintain a compilation of monitoring reports in respect of key performance indicators in Outpatients

Assist with training new team members in Trust operational systems and department procedures.

Prioritise daily tasks to achieve timescales set.

Provide appropriate cover in the absence of other members of the team.

Continually contribute to patient and business improvement Agendas.

Share ideas for potential service improvement

Utilise relevant Trust IT systems, as determined by the role, ensure all relevant patient data is collected and input accurately in line with Trust guidelines.
