Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per year Plus commission

Job Overview - Please read this first

You will need at least two years of B2B sales or account management experience. This is not an entry-level position and it is not a first sales role. If you have sold to businesses, run your own pipeline in a CRM and carried a revenue number, this will be a good fit.

The opportunity

Displaysense has been designing and supplying display and retail equipment since 1978. We are a multi-brand group selling to retailers, museums, schools, universities, hospitality venues and commercial offices across the UK.

We are profitable, we are growing, and we generate a steady flow of inbound B2B enquiries and repeat orders. What we do not currently have is one person who owns those customer relationships properly. That is this role.

What you will own

You will take responsibility for our warm and repeat B2B revenue. Enquiries range from a few hundred pounds to multi-site projects worth tens of thousands.

Convert inbound B2B enquiries into orders, and orders into ongoing accounts
Grow existing customers by understanding their sites, their refit cycles and their procurement process
Run your own sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM with accurate forecasting
Quote commercially, protecting margin rather than discounting to close
Decide which accounts are worth your time, and which are not
Feed customer insight back into our product and marketing decisions

You will not be chasing deliveries, handling after-sales admin or working from a cold call list. That sits elsewhere so you can sell.

What we need from you

Two or more years in B2B sales, account management or business development
Evidence of growing an account, not just servicing it
Confident with a CRM. HubSpot ideally, but any proper system is fine
Comfortable speaking with business owners, facilities managers, buyers and procurement teams
Commercial judgement. You understand margin and you can hold a price
Organised enough to run your own diary without daily supervision

The team

You will be based at our Bishop's Stortford head office, working alongside our operations, marketing, customer service and finance teams. It is a small, capable group where people know each other's names and decisions do not disappear into committees. Easy commute from Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Stansted, Hertford and Ware, with free on-site parking.

By 30 days you know the product range and are holding credible commercial conversations. By 90 days you have a forecastable pipeline in HubSpot that you built

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
