We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Radiographers to join our CT service at Bradford on a permanent basis.
Applications are invited from both experienced CT Radiographers and HCPC-registered Diagnostic Radiographers who wish to develop a career in CT imaging through a structured training and competency programme.
This is a Band 5 to Band 6 Training Post. Applicants who already possess the required CT competencies and experience will be appointed directly to Band 6. Applicants who do not currently possess the required CT competencies but demonstrate the aptitude and commitment to develop within CT will be appointed at Band 5 and supported through a structured training programme. Progression to Band 6 will be subject to successful completion of the agreed CT training pathway and departmental competencies.
The post involves participation in a full shift system providing a 24-hour, 7-day CT service.
CT competencies are desirable (see personal specification for full details) for direct appointment to Band 6. Applicants who do not currently hold these competencies will be appointed at Band 5 and will be required to complete an agreed CT training and competency programme before progression to Band 6.

The Radiology Department at Bradford provides a comprehensive imaging service to support the wide spectrum of clinical work undertaken within the Trust. Our imaging work covers three sites, Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Luke’s Hospital and Eccleshill Community Diagnostic Centre. We have a total of 4 Canon CT scanners. The successful applicant would be expected to work over a 7 day week at the 3 hospital sites dependent on service requirements, including nights and non vascular intervention cover. All major clinical specialties, with the exceptions of transplant surgery, neurosurgery and cardiac surgery are represented in the Trust.
