Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding and fabrication skills, with experience in TIG welding and sheet metal work. Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, primarily sheet metal components.
- Fabricate parts according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently during fabrication processes.
- Assist with the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures.
- Measure and mark materials accurately using basic math skills to meet project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Inspect completed work for defects or inconsistencies, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of <LOCATION> welding standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.
- Solid knowledge of fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Experience with assembly processes is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
