Job Summary
This is a fast-paced, high-output role working across a portfolio of premium consumer brands. No two days are the same. You will be expected to switch between projects quickly, maintain an exceptional eye for detail, and consistently deliver work that upholds the premium standards our brands demand.
As Junior Designer at Beam Group, you will be an integral part of our team, producing design assets that span POS, digital, print, and e-commerce channels. You will work closely with the marketing and ecommerce team, brand managers, account managers and external clients to bring campaigns and brand identities to life across multiple touchpoints.
You will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering high volumes of polished, on-brand creative work, from social media assets and digital ad campaigns through to print-ready artwork and e-commerce visuals. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, motivated designer to build a broad commercial skill set within a well-established and ambitious company.
The role will report to our Marketing Manager and work closely with our Digital Marketing Lead to ensure campaigns are performing effectively.
Key Responsibilites
Asset Creation
- Design engaging, high-quality visuals for social media, digital advertising, and email marketing campaigns.
- Produce and adapt creative assets to platform-specific specifications, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Amazon Marketplace.
- Support the delivery of creative campaigns from initial concept through to final production-ready files.
Print and Layout
- Prepare and format print-ready artwork for brochures, flyers, exhibition stands, and event materials.
- Ensure all print files meet supplier specifications, including correct bleeds, colour profiles, and resolution.
Brand Consistency
- Strictly adhere to individual brand guidelines across a portfolio of premium brands, ensuring uniform typography, colour, imagery, and tone in every deliverable.
- Act as a guardian of brand standards, flagging any inconsistencies and proactively maintaining quality across all creative output.
Social Media
- Assist the Social Media Executive in creating engaging video and image content for our brands' social channels, including Reels, Stories, and static posts.
- Edit and adapt raw footage and photography into polished, on-brand social content, ensuring each asset is optimised for the relevant platform and format.
- Support the planning and scheduling of social content by preparing assets to brief and delivering files on time within the content calendar.
Image Editing and File Management
- Carry out image manipulation, retouching, and optimisation for a variety of media formats including digital, print, and e-commerce.
- Organise, update, and archive design files and digital asset libraries, ensuring the team always has access to current and well-structured resources.
Collaboration and Communication
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to campaign development.
- Take direction and feedback from the marketing team, brand managers and account managers, iterating on work efficiently and positively.
- Liaise confidently with the internal brand team and external clients, managing feedback and revisions in a professional and timely manner.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative discipline.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong foundational knowledge of design principles: typography, layout, colour theory, and composition.
- Experience producing digital assets for social media and paid advertising platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, positive attitude.
Desirable
- Experience using Figma, Sketch Up and video editing tools.
- Hands-on experience creating ad assets for Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Amazon Marketplace.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design and creative tools, with a curiosity to explore how they can improve workflow and output.
- An interest in premium consumer products and lifestyle brands.
- Experience working within a multi-brand environment or for a marketing or design agency.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or e-commerce platforms such as Shopify is a bonus, though not required.
