Role: Steam Boiler Technician
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Location: Ware, SG12 0DJ

We're looking for a Steam Boiler Technician who will deliver all critical operational equipment required for steam generating operations on behalf of utilities infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide support for all critical operational equipment required for steam generating operations on behalf of utilities infrastructure.
Carry out daily operational checks of the CHP plant and record required information on the agreed format. Complete Planned, Preventive Maintenance tasks on the CHP steam generation plant.
Provide a comprehensive engineering service to the Site.
Carry out isolations to Company standards to enable the safe disconnection of electrical and mechanical equipment.
To check, test, set and adjust mechanical equipment to the levels to their proven competence and electrical resets where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstratable evidence of technical qualifications in the relevant field (Preferably BOAS D6A).
Evidence of previous experience working on Steam generating boiler plant.
Knowledge of working on BMS systems. Confirmed space entry and escape trained.
Asbestos Awareness
Full UK Driving Licence.
