Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will support the assembly and production processes, ensuring smooth operations across various projects. Previous warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to a busy production facility.

Responsibilities

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
General factory & production work
Good understanding of English is required
Must be physically fit
Basic computer skills an advantage
Committed with a mature and reliable attitude
Available to work 37.75hrs per week Monday - Friday in Luton (Sedgwick Road Area)
References may be required
Keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure without supervision.
08.00-16.45 Monday – Thursday / 08.00-14.00 Friday
Tea Break 11.00-11.15
Lunch break 14.00-14.30
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely and stand for extended periods during shifts
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
