Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 tonne driver / labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating flatbed vehicles, delivering goods, and assisting with various labouring tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in commercial driving and delivery operations to contribute to our organisation’s logistics and operational efficiency.

Duties

Safely operate a 7.5 tonne flatbed lorry for the transportation of goods to designated locations
Load and unload items, ensuring secure placement on the vehicle
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Assist with manual labour tasks such as loading, unloading, and organising stock at delivery sites
Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and optimise fuel consumption
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Adhere to all health and safety regulations during driving and labouring activities

Requirements

Valid driving licence suitable for 7.5 tonne vehicles, with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or delivery roles
Knowledge of safe loading and securing of cargo on flatbeds
Ability to undertake manual labour tasks as required
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Physical fitness to handle lifting, manoeuvring, and long periods of standing or walking
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

This position is ideal for individuals who are organised, safety-conscious, and have a strong work ethic. Prior experience with delivery driving or similar roles will be highly regarded.

Pay: £130.00-£180.00 per day
