Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime. Shifts are scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm. Monday to Saturday

About the Role
As a key member of our transport team, you will:
- Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region safely, on time and to high food hygiene standards
- Drive both company vans and Class 2 trucks on local multi-drop routes
- Assist the warehouse manager and team when not driving
- Load and unload your vehicle and ensure accurate paperwork and route planning
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete load plans
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Accurately check paperwork while loading and unloading
- Deliver to customers safely and efficiently across the local region
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any damage
- Support warehouse and driving team as required
This role requires a proactive and flexible approach, excellent communication and an eye for detail.
What We’re Looking For
You will need:
- A valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence with a clean record
- Applicant must be over 23 years old for insurance purposes
- 3 years minimum residency required
- CPC card (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- A genuine passion for professional driving and road safety
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Reliability, professionalism and excellent customer service skills
- An ability to follow processes and procedures
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed
