Full job description

At Manor Fresh Ltd, people are at the heart of our business and we believe in the importance of everyone's contribution to our success. With that in mind, we are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our small HR team. As an HR Advisor, you will work closely with the Head of People and play a crucial role in supporting the operational side of the business through effective employee relations management. This is a varied, hands-on role giving you the opportunity to make a real difference across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced production environment. This is also a great opportunity to shape the role around your strengths and take real ownership of key areas of the HR function as it develops.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations: including managing employee relation cases such as capability, disciplinary and grievances.
Absence Management: own the day-to-day management of sickness absence, including absence trigger. Provide advise to managers on reasonable adjustments and best practice.
Training: coordinate and deliver internal training, maintain accurate training records and compliance tracking, arrange booking of required training.
Recruitment and On-boarding: manage the on-boarding process end-to-end, including right-to-work checks and induction scheduling.
Wellbeing: design and delivery of wellbeing initiatives across the site, a key point of contact for wellbeing signposting and support.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
Confidence handling ER casework.
Confident communicator, able to build credibility with managers at all levels.

Desirable:

CIPD qualified or relevant experience.
Experience within a fast-paced operational, manufacturing, or food production environment.

Pay: £36,500.00-£38,000.00 per year
