Full job description

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our busy dynamic team in Middlewich, CW10 0JP working in partnership with our customer British Salt.

You will be working full-time, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 11:00 to 19:00.

An annual salary of £28,000.00 per annum

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Provide general administrative support in line with transport legislation and company procedures
Support the Transport Management team with day-to-day operations
You’ll manage vehicle movements, tracking, servicing schedules, and fleet maintenance/defects
Coordinate driver paperwork, bookings, and conduct pre- and de-briefs
Ensure compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and Health & Safety standards while liaising with key teams and partners

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience in the logistics sector is desirable, but not essential
Strong Administration skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to work to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with strong verbal and written abilities
Self-motivated and flexible team player, with a customer-focused approach and awareness of Health & Safety
