As a Process Operator with Victrex your role will be to operate manufacturing processes to required standards, delivering production plans, in compliance with defined operating instructions and maintaining the requisite SHE and Quality standards.
You will undertake appropriate plant maintenance to ensure efficient and effective operation of plant. We require all our operators to maintain required standards of plant housekeeping to ensure safe and efficient working practices. The role requires our Operators to focus on continuous improvement, identifying opportunities within the scope of the role and supporting wider activities to enable the business to deliver in the most effective and efficient way possible.
Your Experience
Our ideal candidate will bring experience working in a manufacturing/hazardous environment where safety is a key priority, along with experience of working in a busy team, delivering to plan and adhering to strict processes and procedures. You’ll also be able to problem solve and troubleshoot within the remit of the Process Operator role.
Due to the physical nature of the role, you must be capable of carrying out physical work such as lifting and climbing stairs in addition to working in confined spaces. The nature of the role involves 24/7 shift working.
