Location: Owl Tearooms, Holt
Hours: Part Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Barista and Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service, prepare quality hot and cold drinks, and assist with general shop duties, including stock management and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Previous experience in a tearoom and bakery shop setting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard.
Setting up the shop for opening and closing down at end of day.
Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.
Operate the till, handle cash, and process card transactions accurately.
Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain attractive displays.
Keep the tearoom and shop areas clean, tidy, and well-organized.
Assist with monitoring stock levels.
Follow health, safety, and food hygiene procedures at all times.
Support team members and contribute to smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

Positive, approachable attitude and strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Previous barista or retail experience desirable, but full training will be provided.
