Job Overview

European Trailer Services Ltd are a transport haulage company based in Strathclyde Business Park in Bellshill & are looking to recruit a Trainee Office Administrator to join our friendly & experienced team.

This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop administrative & teamworking skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will be able to provide valuable support to our operations team by completing essential administrative tasks in a busy office environment and gain valuable experience in the transport & logistics industry.

Responsibilities·

Monitoring the delivery status of shipments
Obtaining Place of Delivery (POD) from our transport partners after the delivery of shipments
Communicating delivery & collection confirmations or delays to our customers
Accept email enquiries and freight bookings
Completion of custom files for outside UK shipments.
Supporting our accounts team to ensure shipment sales & costs are accurately inputted.
Sending the required shipping & delivery documents to our European & UK partners
Preparing & recording shipment paperwork & obtaining crucial documents from our suppliers.
Answering & responding effectively to telephone calls from our customers & suppliers.
Accurately maintain paper filing and logging important information electronically on the company database

Essenital Qualifications & Skills

National 5 English Mandatory
An eagerness to learn new skills & embed themselves into a new environment.
Reliable and well organised
Positive attitude to work tasks & challenges
Work effectively within a small team
Strong Microsoft Office skills

This role provides an excellent foundation for individuals eager to develop their administrative capabilities within a supportive team. Successful candidates will be organised, proactive, and eager to learn new skills in office management.

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
