CNC Operative & Production Optimisation Technician
We are looking for an experienced and reliable CNC Operative and Production Optimastion Technician to join our manufacturing team.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working within kitchen manufacturing, along with strong job optimisation skills and hands-on CNC experience in a factory/manufacturing environment.
A good understanding of kitchen components, cabinetry and joinery manufacturing processes is essential for this role. The successful candidate must also be confident using computers and relevant design, CAD and production software.
The Role
As a CNC Operative, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery efficiently and accurately, preparing and producing kitchen and cabinetry components to specification, and helping to optimise jobs and production processes.
You will be expected to understand production requirements within a kitchen manufacturing environment and ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Operative
- Previous kitchen manufacturing experience – essential
- Strong job optimisation skills – essential
- Experience producing kitchen, cabinetry or related joinery components using CNC machinery
- Experience working within a factory/manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of kitchen manufacturing, cabinetry and joinery production processes
- CAD software experience
- Experience using ArtiCAD and/or SketchUp
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Strong overall computer skills and confidence using a range of computer programs and production software
- Ability to learn and work with new software and computer-based manufacturing systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and work accurately from production information, drawings and specifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- References from previous employment will be required
