About Us
NES Ltd is an established supplier within the aerospace sector, specialising in high accuracy CNC milling and turning. We use state of the art machine tools from DMG Mori and Doosan and operate from a modern facility just south of Stratford upon Avon.
Due to recently secured contracts, we are now looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Production Assistant to join our friendly team.
About the Role
This is a varied role supporting different areas of the business, including production, procurement, packing, inspection and general administration.
The successful candidate will help keep the factory running smoothly by supporting day to day activities across the site. This role would suit someone practical, organised and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Working within our accredited AS9100 quality system, duties will include:
- Supporting the procurement manager
- Purchasing goods and services
- Helping with packing and despatch
- Keeping the factory clean, tidy and organised
- Supporting engineering and inspection tasks
- Assisting with general production activities
- Carrying out general administrative duties
- Working with and supporting other team members
- Undertaking training as required
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A practical and flexible approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Some understanding of engineering drawings would be an advantage
Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, stores, packing, purchasing or administration would be beneficial, but full training can be provided for the right person.
