You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Barnsley Road in Wakefield

This community pharmacy is commutable from surrounding cities/towns/villages and is located on high street. It has a good relationship with the local GP surgeries/health centres.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 1600 items a week,
It provides a wide range of services including pharmacy first, blood pressure, abpm, mds, supervised methadone, contraception, private services, nms, dms, smoking sensation, covid and flu vaccines.
It provides services to 20 substance misuse patients and 1 x 21 bed care homes).
It dispenses 21 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open Monday - Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-12noon.

The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 1 qualified and 2 trainee pharmacy assistants and an ACT.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
