Job description:

We are looking for a General Office Cleaner to join our team.

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 5pm - 7pm

Pay Rate: £13.45per hour.

Duties:

- Perform commercial cleaning tasks in an office, including hallways and high use areas. Cleaning of touch points, dusting and polishing, Toilets and Hygiene Rooms, Offices, Stairs, and Corridors

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors

- Dust and wipe down surfaces

- Clean and sanitise restrooms and break rooms

- Empty trash and replace liners

- Restock supplies as needed

- Follow cleaning procedures and guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment

Skills:

- Experience in cleaning is preferred

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment

- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently

- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols

Training WILL be provided.

10 hours per week

52 weeks per year

Must have UK government right to work.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to create a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
Good organisational skills and reliability
Ability to work during scheduled hours with flexibility for additional shifts if required
A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
