Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, confident and experienced with Xero, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Duties

Manage daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Organise and coordinate engineer schedules and appointments for staff members.
Utilise Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) to prepare documents and reports.
Maintain accurate records using Xero and other relevant software.
Assist with invoicing, billing, and financial record keeping.
Support team members with organisational needs and administrative projects.
Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-stocked with supplies.
Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing.

Skills

Proven office experience or administrative experience.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Experience with Xero accounting software is essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
Familiarity with basic clerical procedures and data management systems. This role offers a dynamic work environment where organisational skills are valued and developed. The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting our organisation’s operations through effective administration.

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
