We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Manager specialised in African branding to lead our marketing initiatives. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the African market, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Manage social media platforms, creating engaging content that resonates with target audiences and enhances brand visibility.
- Oversee product management activities, ensuring offerings meet market demands and consumer preferences.
- Lead branding initiatives to establish a consistent and compelling brand identity across all channels.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, informing strategic decisions.
- Identify, plan and manage the launch of new products and set budgets, targets ad timelines
- Coordinate public relations efforts to foster positive relationships with media outlets, partners, and stakeholders.
- Utilise Adobe Creative Suite tools to design marketing materials, advertisements, and digital content.
- Drive B2B marketing campaigns to establish partnerships and expand business opportunities within UK.
- Analyse campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimise engagement and return on investment.
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with UK advertising standards and consumer protection regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management, product management, branding, and marketing within the African context.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience conducting market research and applying findings to optimise marketing efforts.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for content creation.
- Demonstrated expertise in public relations and B2B marketing campaigns.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in relevant languages preferred.
- A good Knowledge of African consumer markets or diaspora marketing and Passionate about African traditional styles and fashion
- A recognised degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields is desirable. This role offers an engaging environment for a passionate marketing professional eager to make a significant impact within the African market landscape.
Pay: £39,550.00-£49,550.00 per year
