Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in electrical work who are committed to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Diagnosing electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, then implementing effective solutions.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
Ensuring all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations.
Collaborating with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults.
Maintaining detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise work execution.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
