The Assistant Principal plays a key role in the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school, working closely with the Principal and senior leadership team to drive school improvement and ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and student achievement.
The successful candidate will provide visible and effective leadership across the school, supporting staff in delivering an ambitious curriculum and a positive learning environment where all students can thrive. They will work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, students, parents/carers, governors, and external partners to promote the school’s vision, values, and strategic priorities.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sound judgement, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. The postholder will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement, contributing to the ongoing success and development of the school.
