You will join as an Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager, supporting the day-to-day operation of our Restaurant & Bar while helping to deliver exceptional food, drink and service experiences. Working closely with the Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will inspire the team, maintain the highest service standards and ensure every guest receives warm, attentive hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day management of the Restaurant & Bar, ensuring exceptional service at all times
Lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
Take an active role in service, leading by example during busy periods
Assist with team training, rota planning and performance development
Work closely with the kitchen and wider hotel teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Support stock control, ordering and cost management within the department
Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing and health & safety standards
Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and operational excellence

Person Specification

Previous supervisory or management experience within a quality restaurant, bar or hotel environment
Passion for delivering exceptional food and beverage service
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A hands-on approach with the confidence to lead from the floor
Commercial awareness and attention to detail
Flexible approach to working shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
