Key Responsibilities

Support the Chef de Partie with the smooth running of a kitchen section.
Prepare and cook dishes to specification, maintaining consistency and quality.
Take responsibility for assigned tasks during service to support efficient kitchen operations.
Maintain excellent cleanliness, organisation and food safety within your section.
Assist with stock rotation, labelling and correct storage of ingredients.
Guide and support Commis Chefs, sharing knowledge and encouraging good practice.
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth communication and positive workflow.
Build your skills and confidence with the aim of progressing to a Chef de Partie role.

Person Specification

Experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a quality hospitality environment.
Confident with core cooking skills and ready to take on more responsibility.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistent dishes.
Supportive team player who contributes to a positive kitchen culture.
Calm and professional during busy service periods.
Committed to progression towards Chef de Partie level.
