Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our team in CRAWLEY. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our clients expect, contributing directly to the overall guest experience and satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning
Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards
Make beds, change linen, and replace towels and guest amenities
Dust, wipe, and sanitise all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, mirrors, and fittings
Vacuum carpets and clean hard floors
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and tiles
Replenish guest supplies (toiletries, tea & coffee, stationery, etc.)
Check room condition and report maintenance issues or damages immediately
Assist with cleaning of corridors, staircases, and service areas when required
Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping cupboards and trolleys
Ensure linen rooms and storage areas are kept clean and organised
Follow Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures at all times
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
Adhere to manual handling guidelines
Report accidents, hazards, or near misses promptly
Quality & Productivity Standards
Complete assigned rooms within agreed timeframes

Skills & Experience Required

Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred (training provided if required)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties

Training & Compliance

Full induction and on-the-job training provided
Health & Safety awareness training
COSHH training
Right to work in the UK required
Maintain consistent quality standards across all rooms
Work closely with supervisors to meet daily operational targets
Accept feedback positively and implement improvements
