The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Finance Finance Assistant and Administrator to join our growing team. This is a key support role that requires a blend of administrative expertise, strong organisational skills, and a compassionate, professional demeanour. You will be instrumental in supporting our Managing Director, as well as providing essential administrative and compliance support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Reconciliations: Post and reconcile invoices and payments on a daily basis.
Plan Redemptions: Liaise with internal and third party stake holders in the administration of funeral plan redemptions.
Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Managing Director, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
Answer and direct telephone calls to the appropriate person or team, ensuring a smooth and professional communication flow.
Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and compile company reports, including management information (MI) and compliance reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Administrative Management: Oversee general office administration, including managing documents, maintaining digital files, and handling company-wide communications.
Team Support: Provide administrative support to the sales and funeral planning teams as needed, including data entry, preparing client documents, and assisting with scheduling.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline administrative processes and enhance efficiency across the company.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrator, or in a similar administrative role.
Experience in finanical management tasks
Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
A compassionate and empathetic nature, understanding the delicate context of our work.
A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
