Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Morning Office Housekeeper to join our team for a part-time role, working 12.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised office environment, ensuring a professional and welcoming space for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services to utilise their skills in a supportive and friendly workplace.

Hours of Work

9:00am - 11:30am (Monday to Friday)

2.5 Hours per day / 12.5 Hours per week

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, windows, and communal spaces
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchenettes, and other shared facilities
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company procedures
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Adhere to cleaning schedules and standards to ensure consistent hygiene levels

Requirements

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated hours
Reliable and punctual attendance record
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting light loads and standing for extended periods
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices

Contract Type

To cover maternity leave (alternative work available after maternity cover ends)
