Do you love keeping things organised and running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for a friendly and efficient Venue Coordinator to help support our team of passionate Membership Recruiters (Charity Fundraisers). In this part-time role, you’ll be key to making sure our teams have great venues to work from across the region.
You’ll work 30 hours a week across 5 days, with some flexibility around start and finish times, and provide remote “on-call” support one weekend a month to help with any urgent venue issues.

The salary for this role based on 30 hours per week is £19,824.57 per annum, pro-rated from a full-time equivalent of £24,780.71, plus a performance-related bonus ranging from £1,750 to £5,050 per year. What you will do as a Venue Coordinator:
- Source, book, and assign high-quality venues and events for fundraising teams across set regions.
- Keep the database up to date daily, ensuring all information is accurate and reliable.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with venue partners.
- Evaluate venue performance using feedback and results to inform future bookings.
- Handle any on-the-day venue issues, arranging alternative locations quickly when needed.
- Produce monthly schedules within agreed deadlines.
- Liaise with the Institute of Fundraising as required.
- Occasionally travel to support event set-up and logistics.
- Coordinate with Membership Recruiters regarding their schedules and planned events.
- Plan and coordinate recruiter schedules, including annual leave, sickness, and other absences.
About you:
- You have excellent attention to detail, ensuring all information related to bookings is accurately maintained on our cloud-based Salesforce CRM system.
- You possess strong organisational and communication skills.
- You have excellent IT skills, with significant experience using MS Office packages and databases.
- You bring strong people skills — you are tactful, diplomatic, and confident in negotiation.
- Experience in event or venue booking is desirable.
- You are flexible and able to adapt quickly and calmly within a fast-changing environment.
- Due to the remote location of our office, a full driving licence and access to a car are essential.
- We’re ideally looking for someone based locally to our office near Bicester, or within reasonable travel distance, to support the in-person requirements of the role.
