Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Officer to join our human resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Process payroll using systems such as Workday, HRIS, PeopleSoft, and accounting software like QuickBooks
- Ensure accurate data entry of employee information, hours worked, and salary details
- Manage accounts payable related to payroll, including deductions and benefits administration
- Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for management review
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times
- Assist with audits and compliance checks related to payroll processes
- Support human resources functions by providing relevant payroll data and analysis as required
- Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation and company policies to ensure ongoing compliance
Qualifications
- Proven experience with payroll processing using Workday, QuickBooks, HRIS, or PeopleSoft systems
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy levels
- Knowledge of accounting software and accounts payable procedures
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret payroll data and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Prior experience in human resources or payroll administration is desirable
- Organised with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Pay: £24,420.00-£41,094.22 per year
