The Role
Funeral Arrangers deal with our clients during one of the most emotional times of their lives, and this requires an exceptional degree of skill and empathy. A Funeral Arranger deals with all aspects of funeral arranging from the very first call through to the day of the funeral. This role requires flawless interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn about cremation, burial, and church procedures, and an impeccable eye for detail and planning.
Key Responsibilities
· Meeting bereaved families to arrange funeral services.
· Dealing efficiently with telephone, email and personal enquiries.
· Assisting with the telephone rota (currently one week a month) to care for our clients 24 hours a day. (This will involve a share of Christmas and other public holidays).
· Ensuring good relationships with the local community and wider business community.
· Frequently communicate with colleagues, clients and others involved in delivering the funeral.
. Ensuring that the necessary paperwork to allow a funeral service to proceed is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
· Ensure that our offices are kept in a neat and tidy order.

Pay: £28,730.00 per year
