Job Summary
The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the hotel property. This position performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest service calls.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Maintain swimming pool, spa, and related equipment if applicable.
Repair furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, locks, drywall, paint, and flooring as needed.
Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Monitor hotel grounds and facilities for safety hazards and maintenance needs.
Comply with all hotel safety policies, OSHA regulations, and emergency procedures.
Assist with setup and breakdown for events or special projects when required.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous maintenance experience in hospitality, apartment, or commercial facilities preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts if needed.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
