Part-time farm worker required 2 to 5 days per week at our fruit and vegetable growing site near Cooksbridge, Lewes.
No experience is required provided you can learn quickly but you must be genuinely interested in farming and horticulture, nature or nutrition. You must be physically fit and ready to work outdoors in all weathers. Dawn & pre-dawn harvests are required on 2 to 3 days a week between May and mid-December so you must have a bicycle or car or live near the farm. You cannot rely on public transport.
Early-harvest bonus. Good long-term prospects. Flexible hours could fit with your other commitments - depending on candidate preferences we would be willing to consider either a temporary or a permanent position, preferably at least 3 days a week but would consider 2 week-days. Our full working week is Tuesday to Saturday.
