Marsh Labels is a well-established manufacturer of high-quality self-adhesive labels, supplying customers across a wide range of industries. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Finishing Machine Operator to join our production team.
Whether you already have experience within the label industry or are looking to develop your career in manufacturing, we would like to hear from you. Full training will be provided to the right candidate on our ABG Digicon Series 3 finishing machine.

Previous experience operating an ABG Digicon or similar finishing equipment would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Main day to day responsibilities would be, but not limited to:
- Learn to set up, operate and monitor the ABG Digicon Series 3 finishing machine.
- Produce finished labels in accordance with production specifications and company procedures.
- Carry out finishing processes including slitting, rewinding, laminating, varnishing and die-cutting.
- Perform quality inspections throughout production to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Work towards achieving production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
- Help minimise machine downtime and material waste through efficient working practices.
- Accurately record production information using our Management Information System (MIS).
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic machine checks.
- Report any machine faults or quality concerns promptly.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and comply with all Health & Safety procedures.
- Contribute ideas towards continuous improvement within the production department.

Full time, permanent position 40 hours per week
Starting Salary £12.93 - £13:53 per hour, depending on experience.
Rotating early/late shifts, Monday – Thursday, one week early: 05:45 – 14:15, Friday 06:00 - 12:00, one week late: 13:45 – 22:15, Friday 12:00 - 18:00.
