Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauté stations
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
- Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to management
- Contribute ideas for menu development and presentation enhancements
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a professional kitchen environment
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced culinary setting, demonstrating efficiency under pressure
- Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service principles is advantageous
