The Opportunity
We’re looking for an inspiring Associate Lecturer in ESOL to join our talent pool and deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching. This role involves supporting a specified module or modules, including the preparation and delivery of lectures, workshops, and practical sessions.
This is a zero‑hours contract with regular working hours to be confirmed at interview. This is a temporary post until the 31st December 2026.
What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering scheduled teaching and learning sessions
- Preparing high‑quality learning materials
- Designing and marking assessments, alongside moderation duties
- Contributing to curriculum design and continuous quality improvement
- Providing student support and supervising independent study
- Attending programme and team meetings
- Participating in CPD activities to enhance your practice
- Supporting student monitoring, reporting, course review and evaluation
- Taking part in quality assurance processes
As the college evolves, responsibilities may develop in line with our strategic goals.

- Preparing and presenting papers as needed
