Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing delivering exceptional customer service while creating stylish and personalised looks for clients. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and skill development within a welcoming environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a range of hair services, maintaining high standards of hygiene and client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the salon.

Responsibilities

Providing professional hair cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing services tailored to client preferences
Offering expert advice on hair care, colour choices, and styling options
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
Building strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
Upselling additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or specialised treatments to enhance client experience
Managing front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and payment processing
Mentoring junior team members and sharing expertise to foster a collaborative environment
Assisting with store management tasks when required to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills

Proven experience in hairdressing with a strong portfolio of styles and techniques
Competence in barbering, colour correction, and specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalised recommendations
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to upsell products and services effectively to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently
Experience in store management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not essential
Mentoring abilities to support less experienced team members in their development
