Full-Time Senior Beauty Therapist / Salon Manager
Permanent Position | Starting Mid October 2026 (with training beforehand)

We are looking for an experienced, confident Senior Beauty Therapist / Salon Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships and is ready to take the next step in their career by becoming a key part of the salon’s day-to-day success.
As the salon owner, I will be taking maternity leave from December 2026, and this role will play an important part in supporting the smooth running of the salon during this time. You will work closely with me beforehand to learn our systems, standards, clients and the way we operate, ensuring you feel confident and supported in your role.
When I return part-time, you will continue in this permanent senior position, helping to maintain our high standards and support the continued growth of the salon.

The Role
Your role will include:
- Providing exceptional beauty treatments to the highest professional standards
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the salon
- Taking responsibility for maintaining salon standards when working independently
- Supporting and encouraging a junior member of staff
- Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Confidently recommending and retailing products and treatments to meet clients’ individual needs
- Assisting with reception duties, bookings, cashing up and general salon administration
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation throughout the salon
- Using initiative to identify and resolve day-to-day salon needs

Experience in the majority of our treatments is preferred. However, we understand that no therapist will be experienced in everything, and full in-house training and professional courses will be provided where needed.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy (or equivalent)
- Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a professional beauty salon
- Is confident carrying out a wide range of beauty treatments
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Builds strong relationships with clients and enjoys creating a personal experience
- Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Has confidence taking responsibility and making decisions
- Maintains high standards and takes pride in their work
- Enjoys supporting and encouraging less experienced team members
Previous supervisory or management experience would be an advantage. However, we would also welcome applications from an experienced senior therapist who is ready to progress into a leadership role with support and training.

As a small, close-knit team, everyone plays an important role in creating a welcoming salon environment, including helping with reception duties and general salon upkeep.
Hours
This is a full-time position with 4 or 5 days.
Working hours can be discussed to suit both parties, however:
- One evening per week until 8:00pm is required
- Every Saturday 9:00am–2:00pm is required
Once agreed, your working days and hours will remain consistent each week.
